I have a very special place in my heart for family and how the different members came into my life and have influenced my life. I have a very special daughter, Laura, who made a real difference when she was born. She started into this world as a 2.5 pound preemie. She did well, though we had a lot of sleepless nights and our share of anxious moments, many of which were by my own overreaction. She has turned into a beautiful woman, wife and mother of Rebecca. Another pride is the family she has developed. Brian and Rebecca are special as well. We had our share of close moments as well as our share of differences. But through it all, I have loved her in a way only a father can. I am very proud of her and marvel at how well she has turned out, even with me influencing her. Well, I guess I wasn’t that bad after all. She seems to have done real well! One of my fondest memories, is of the Father/Daughter dance at her wedding. I was so proud of her and yet so saddened that my little girl had grown so fast. It’s those memories that keep us going!
